Sven Millischer

Sven Millischer is considered one of the leading specialists in Switzerland for open-source intelligence (OSINT) and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the fight against economic crime. With more than twenty years of experience, he combines traditional research methods with modern AI technologies to complex economic crimes to uncover and prevent.
Professional career
Millischer worked as Partner Information Services with Forentecwhere he conducted OSINT analyses and led AML/KYC checks. Previously, he was Head of the OSINT team with AC Assets Control (2021–2024), where he developed approaches to risk assessment and network analysis. Between 2012 and 2021, he was a member of the Editor-in-chief of Handelszeitung He led a team of five, introduced special editions on the digitisation of the economy and moderated economic conferences. From 2009 to 2012, he was Deputy Head of the Business News Department at the Aargauer Zeitung / CH Media.
Teaching and knowledge transfer
As a lecturer at, among others, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), Millischer teaches the interface between AI technologies and investigative methods. He is considered a pioneer in AI-supported information gathering and offers seminars on OSINT investigations and data collection from public sources.
