2. Scope

This statement explains how personal data is processed when you visit this website. It is in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, in particular for access from the EEA or for offers/targeting to persons in the EEA, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hosttech GmbH, Seestrasse 15a, 8805 Richterswil, Switzerland. Server log data (e.g. IP address, date/time, URL accessed, referrer, user agent) may be processed to ensure technical operation. Legal basis (GDPR, where applicable): Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in stable, secure provision). A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

4. Provision of the website & server logs

When you visit the website, data is automatically processed for technical reasons: IP address, date/time of access, pages/files accessed, referrer URL, browser type/version, operating system. This data is used to deliver content, ensure stability and IT security, and is usually stored for a short period of time and then deleted. It is not combined with other data.

5. Cookies

Beyond technically necessary cookies, we only use analytics cookies if you consent to this. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect and adjust your settings: Open cookie settings.

6. Web analysis with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may also process data in the United States, using standard contractual clauses (SCCs).

  • Processed data: Usage data (e.g. pages accessed, length of stay), device/browser data, truncated IP address (IP anonymisation).
  • IP anonymisation: Active; your IP address will be truncated before transmission.
  • Purposes: Reach measurement, error analysis, optimisation of our website.

This website provides contact details for email and telephone. When you contact us, we process the data you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. Legal basis (GDPR, where applicable): Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual/contractual communication) or (f) (legitimate interest in efficient communication).

8. Disclosure of data

Personal data will only be transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, if there is a legal obligation to do so, if you have given your consent or if we can demonstrate an overriding interest (e.g. in asserting legal claims).

9. Storage period

We process and store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as long as there are legal retention obligations. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your rights

Under applicable law (DSG/GDPR), you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and, where applicable, objection to certain types of processing. You also have the right to revoke your consent at any time with future effect.

11. International data transfer

If service providers process data in countries without an adequate level of data protection (e.g. the USA), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (in particular standard contractual clauses) where necessary. Nevertheless, a residual risk cannot be completely ruled out.
