Susanne Grau is Expert in economic crime investigation with many years of experience in investigating and detecting fraudulent activities and economic crimes. She assists senior management bodies of companies, authorities and NGOs in dealing with specific incidents and supports them in particular in assessing the situation, Fact-finding and investigation.
Professional career
Susanne Grau is Head of the Economic Crime Division, lecturer and project manager at the Institute for Financial Services Zug IFZ at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and owner and managing director of SUSANNEGRAU Consulting GmbH. She is Vice-President of SwissAccounting and a member of the board of the Swiss Expert Group for Combating Economic Crime (SEBWK). Previously, she held senior positions with the Criminal Investigation Department of the Canton of Zug and BDO Switzerland, where she was involved in the investigation and detection of economic crime. She began her professional career in fiduciary services and went on to work in management consulting and internal auditing.
Teaching and knowledge transfer
Susanne Grau is responsible for the subject area of economic crime investigation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and heads the MAS Economic Crime Investigation programme (HSLU lecturer). She teaches on topics including the introduction/investigation/prevention of white-collar crime and accounting fraud.
